Dr. Maimuna Baig

Dr. Baig founded a Volunteers in Medicine (VIM)–affiliated free clinic in 2010 to serve uninsured and underinsured patients.Dr. Baig has worked tirelessly to improve patients’ quality of life and has recruited dozens of volunteers who share her passion.
In 2011, she also co-founded VIM West County, helping provide life-changing care to thousands of patients.

Dr. Riham Mohamed
Internal Medicine, MD
Dr. Riham Mohamed is a board-certified internist licensed in Missouri with extensive experience managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease. She is passionate about preventive medicine and community outreach, and is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to help individuals achieve their best possible health.

Dr. Michael Stachniak
Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, DO
Dr. Stachniak is double board-certified in Adult Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
Dr. Stachniak attended medical school at Midwestern University in Chicago and completed his residency and Child Psychiatry Fellowship at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. After completing research with Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Stachniak served 10 years in the U.S. Army treating soldiers with PTSD and supporting military families.He now practices tele- psychiatry in St. Louis and is a subject matter expert in Workers Compensation mental health care.

Dr. Hastings has practiced Family Medicine in Missouri for more than 40 years, serving patients in urban, rural and suburban communities, as well as on college campuses and in the St. Louis County Jail.
Since 2019, Dr. Hastings has volunteered with Volunteers in Medicine and other clinics that care for uninsured patients.
Dr. Hastings is passionate about connecting patients with community resources and empowering them through education so
they can take an active role in their health care.

Dr. Hastings has practiced Family Medicine in Missouri for more than 40 years, serving patients in urban, rural and suburban communities, as well as on college campuses and in the St. Louis County Jail.

Dr. Irwin Plisco is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician and primary care provider practicing in Missouri. With over 31 years of experience in both internal and emergency medicine, he is dedicated to ensuring patients receive the best evidence- based care possible.
Dr. Plisco clinical interests include conditions such as nephrosclerosis, renovascular hypertension, melasma, and membranous nephropathy.

He has a special interest in treating patients with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorders, and bipolar disorder. Dr. Rehmani completed his residency and fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis.

Inspired by the kindness of community physicians like Dr. Safdar and Dr. Rehman, who provided her with free medical care, Dr Khan is committed to serving others in need through compassionate volunteer care.
